6 July 2021 – A total of 314 Orang Asli community have received Covid-19 vaccine injection in Kampung Orang Asli (KOA) Bukit Payung, Alor Gajah, Melaka.
YB Dato’ Henry Sum Agong, Deputy Minister II of KPLB is also present in witnessing the increase in KOA Bukit Payung villagers who agreed to be vaccinated and had lined up early in the morning. In April 2021, only 139 people agreed.
The roles of Tok Batin, JPKKOA Director, JAKOA and Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah (PKD) contributed in the increase of total number of villagers who agreed to receive vaccines.
