First of all, I would like to welcome everyone to the official website of Jabatan Kemajuan Orang Asli (JAKOA). This website is one of the communicative mediums between JAKOA and general public particularly Orang Asli community to retrieve information regarding JAKOA’s department, roles, and function.
With the tagline “Noble Duty,” JAKOA has pioneered the transformation of providing service since its establishment and implemented inclusive development in the pursuit of connecting with all Orang Asli community and let JAKOA’s presence is recognized. The continuity of JAKOA officers’ competence needs to be strengthened in terms of creativity and innovation, which are critical today in achieving the Department’s vision in line with the government’s intent to provide effective, efficient, integrity, and responsive services.
I urge all JAKOA staff, let us all together equip ourselves with knowledge, skills, and expertise as well as an open mind to be able to contribute high-performance services and products based on integrity and accountability.
My hope is that JAKOA will continue to remain relevant in the transformational scene in providing services to the Orang Asli community. Therefore, I pray that every JAKOA staffs possess the successful characteristics of faith, innovative thinking to create, be able to transform and the agility to think ahead as a whole.
Last but not least, it is hoped that visitors of this website will learn about JAKOA as well as the Orang Asli community.
