TAPAH, 29 July – The Pre-Opening Ceremony of Taman Rimba Lata Kinjang was held indicating that it will be fully operational under the Management of Orang Asli Cooperative Lata Kinjang Berhad starting on 30 July 2022.
This ceremony was officiated by Encik Harulnizam bin Abd Rahman, Director of JAKOA State of Perak and Kedah.
Also present at this event were Datin Shahdee binti Dato’ Ahmad (Director of Human Capital NCIA), Tuan Mohammad Akmal Ila bin Ahmad (Chairman of Orang Asli Cooperative Lata Kinjang Berhad), Puan Nurmalis bt Musa (Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Perak Malaysia), Mr. Anuar bin Shafie JAKOA Officer of Batang Padang District and Muallim, as well as agency and department officials.
The symbolic handover of the Rimba Lata Kinjang Eco Forest Development Project was held between Mr. Muhammad Fazlullah bin Abdul Aziz as Director of the NCIA Project Implementation Department to Mr. Harulnizam bin Abd Rahman representing the Orang Asli Development Department.
In addition, the Director of Jakoa State of Perak and Kedah also greeted the victims of the fire that happened on July 27 last. It is understood that the fire that occurred in Batu 16, Tapah involved 4 houses and 2 of them were completely destroyed. All the victims were reported safe and there were no serious injuries.
